Who you are dealing with

Medgenik is a regenerative medicine service operated by Mayan Medical Group, a licensed surgical center in Cancún, Quintana Roo, México. Care is provided in México by physicians licensed in México.

What this website is

It is an explanation of a medical program and a way to ask a physician to review your case. Everything published here is general information about a field of medicine.

What this website is not

It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a treatment plan. Nothing on this site should be used to decide anything about your health without a physician who has actually reviewed your records.

Submitting the form does not create a doctor–patient relationship, does not commit us to treating you, and does not commit you to anything. A request may be declined. Being declined is a legitimate outcome of a medical review, and it is one we consider a success when it is the right answer.

No outcome is promised. We do not claim that any procedure will cure, reverse, or resolve any condition, and we do not publish typical results, because there is no honest way to state one. Any physician who guarantees you a result is telling you something they cannot know.

Requesting a review

When you submit the form, tell us the truth. A review built on an incomplete or inaccurate history is worthless to you and misleading to the physician reading it. If you are asking on behalf of someone else, say so.

We reply within one business hour, Monday to Saturday, 8:00–19:00 EST. Requests that arrive at night or on Sunday are answered the next morning.

Text messages

The consultation form has a separate, optional checkbox for text messages. If you check it, you agree to receive text messages from Medgenik about your consultation request and your appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any service, purchase, or consultation. Declining costs you nothing.

We do not send clinical information by text message. Results, records, and documents are exchanged only through the patient portal.

Fees and payment

The medical review is free of charge and carries no obligation. If you proceed to treatment, the price is quoted to you in writing beforehand and does not change afterward. Travel, lodging, and anything else not named in that quotation are yours to arrange and pay for.

Emergencies

This website and its contact channels are not monitored for emergencies. If you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use this form.

The patient portal

If you are given portal access, the credentials are yours alone. Keep them that way, and tell us immediately if you think someone else has them. Sign out when you are finished on a shared device.

Our content

The text, images, and design of this site belong to Mayan Medical Group. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and send it to your own doctor. You may not republish it as your own or use it to market a different clinic.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of México, and medical care is governed by Mexican health regulation and by the professional obligations of the physicians who provide it.

Changes

If we change these terms, we change the date at the top.
