Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Medgenik collects when you ask for a medical review, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are
Medgenik is a regenerative medicine service operated by Mayan Medical Group, a licensed surgical center located at Av. Bonampak, Mz. 1 Lote 4C-2, Piso 7, Cancún, Quintana Roo 77500, México. You can reach us at care@medgenik.com or +1 (857) 575-6330.
What we collect
When you submit the consultation form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, city and state or province, the area of care you selected, and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation. We also record which advertisement or link brought you to the page, so we know where our patients come from.
If you later become a patient, your medical records are handled separately, inside the patient portal and your clinical file — not through this website's contact form.
What we do with it
We use your information for one purpose: to review your request and respond to it. A bilingual coordinator reads it, a licensed physician reviews the clinical portion, and we contact you with an answer. We keep a record of that exchange so that the next person who speaks with you knows what was already discussed.
Text messages
The consultation form includes a separate, optional checkbox for text messages. Checking it is not required, and leaving it unchecked does not affect your request, your review, or anything else about how you are treated.
If you opt in, we may text you about your consultation request and your appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for help. We keep a record of when you gave consent and what the consent said, because we are required to be able to show it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a lead broker. We do not send your details to another clinic. If a company contacts you claiming to have received your information from us, they are lying.
We will never ask for your card details or your medical records by email or by text. Documents are exchanged only through the patient portal.
Who else touches your information
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf and only under our instructions: the hosting provider that serves this website, the database service that stores consultation requests, the email provider that carries our correspondence, and the messaging provider that delivers text messages if you opted in. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We also use advertising platforms to reach people who may need what we do. Those platforms may tell us that an advertisement led to a request. They do not receive your medical information.
Where your information is processed
Mayan Medical Group operates in México, and your information is processed there and in the United States, where several of our service providers are located. If you are writing from the United States or Canada, this means your information crosses a border. We tell you because you should know, not because it is buried in a clause.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests for as long as we may need them to account for the care we provided or declined to provide. Records tied to treatment are kept for the period Mexican health regulation requires. A request that never became a consultation is closed with a reason rather than erased, so that we can always show whether someone who asked for help was attended to.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop contacting you, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep. Write to care@medgenik.com and a person will answer you.
To stop text messages specifically, replying STOP is faster and takes effect immediately.
Children
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website.
Changes
If we change this policy, we change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we contact you, we will tell the people it affects rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
